We've all been there before, when you find a stack of old grocery bags that are black in color. Those plastic bags are destined to be thrown out anyway. So it would be better to compost the items rather than simply throw them away. They can go into an organic compost pile and that will feed all of the plants in your garden.
These are available at a very common place to find recycled bags. They usually have recycling containers or eco-friendly boxes that you can put your bags in. You can also get a small composting bin at the store that you can add compost to. You may also be able to find a green bin for your compost that has a lid. All you have to do is put the black grocery bags in the compost bin and the dirt will start to turn black as well.
You'll need to check with your municipality to see if they offer you any programs for bag reclamation programs. They can put your garbage in a container and have it collected. They will put that bag in a bin and let you know how to pick it up. This could save you a lot of money on the same old plastic bags. You'll find that the earth gets a little healthier each time you put something in the compost.
